He possessed a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in multicultural counseling from the University of Connecticut, Storrs. His research interests are multicultural counseling, group work, chaos theory, liberation psychology, technology, supervision, multicultural counseling, prisons, and gang-related behavior.
