Résumé

 This paper reports on the use of the Test of Interpretation of Ambiguous Forms (TIFA) based on 39 stimulus-drawings which look like inkblots, from exercises No. 2 of the Test of Interest and Aptitudes elaborated by Terman and Miles to measure mental masculinity and feminity. The common characteristic of these drawings is that the ambiguity of their shape produces a variety of re­sponses. In order to evaluate the results objectively, they were classified accord­ing to frequency' into content categories established by Klopfer for the Rorschach Psychodiagnosis: Objects, Human and Human Detail, Animal and Animal Detail, Plant, Architecture, Nature, Symbol, etc. A standardization of the test was necessary and TIFA 1 was altered and TIFA 2 is being used now, which offers a range of discrepancies from 2 to 56 and a variability of responses to stimulus from 12 to 72. This test has been very useful in detecting students in need of special attention.
