Abstract

Locus as well as frequency and extent of change of locus was studied at one North American and two Latin American universities under four stimulation con­ditions using 40 students of each sex at each university. On most measures one Latin university was more similar to the Anglo than to the o.her Latin university. Differences between universities are regarded as sampling differences, and transcultural validity of the findings is affirmed. No consistent relation w as found between perceived self-locus and several personality measures.
